DescriptionDouble-gourd-shaped vase with fine cloisonné and lacquer work. Primarily gold, white and red at top, with floral and hexagonal patterns. Bottom features children playing with a flag, stick horse, and baton, with a female figure looking over them. Some men appear to be reading from scrolls and tomes, while one of them is waving (dancing with?) a fan. All of the figures are wearing ornate clothing featuring mostly light pastel colors and outlined with gold. Setting appears to be a garden, with two green plants and a small structure in the background and a view of some distant mountains. Stylized clouds made of gold dots are featured in the sky.On View
