DescriptionMiniature goblet shaped cup with continuous scene wrapped around the entire exterior of the cup and calligraphy painted on the interior. The outside scene shows several men in samurai uniforms and several in robes. The background is painted gold with red and gold bands circling the top lip, base and foot of the cup. The bottom of the cup is painted with red and gold as well with japanese characters in gold. The top two thirds of the interior of the cup is painted with black calligraphic characters and a single tiny red stamp.On View
