DescriptionWorld War I United States Army uniform worn by Mr. Bowland, Company G-413 Battalion, Signal Corps, including insigna and stripes. Complete uniform includes jacket, trousers, folding overseas hat, and leg wrappings or long socks. According to the donor, Mr. Bowland enlisted in South Dakota, went overseas in a Depot Battalion and was transferred to the Signal Corps after his arrival in France.A.
