DescriptionThis is Three Stripe Hand Towel with Hole and Unsewn Label, a three-dimensional paper print created by the artist Analia Saban in collaboration with Mixografía in 2016. Saban is an Argentinian-born contemporary conceptual artist working and living in Los Angeles and New York City. She has collaborated with Mixografía several times since 2014, including on Dry Clean Only a 2019 exhibition of prints that she made of textile labels. Three Stripe Hand Towel with Hole and Unsewn Label was made as a corollary to a 2016 series of Mixografías with plastic bags as their subjects. In general, Saban’s works very often incorporate everyday objects in subversive commentaries on everyday experiences and explorations of materiality. On View
