DescriptionPainting on silk depicting a fanciful battle between two groups of frogs on a river. The frogs ride in a lotus ship and on petals as they battle across the water. Country of origin listed as possibly Southeast Asia, Vietnam. According to donor and Labbe, possibly political folk art, a modern interpretation of a historical event with an element of fantasy added. Framed with off-white mat in tarnished gold frame.
