DescriptionBasket - coiled; foundation, grass stems or cat-tail, sewing with cottonwood or willow. Braided edge in martynia. Inverted bell shaped. Diam. base 6", plus. Height 12" plus. Diam. top 13.75" (Many marks of bore beetles). Made by Pima Indians. (Made by Grandmother).
Card 2: A tall storage basket of willow and devil's claw coiled over a foundation ot tule with a braided rim. Net-like design is identical to that of the small storage basket. 13.75" diameter, 12.25: high.
