DescriptionThis postcard was made by M. Kashower Co. in Los Angeles in 1915, around the same time as the Panama-Pacific International Exposition in San Francisco. As news of the splendors of the exposition reached around the globe, this postcard sent greetings from Santa Ana, California and assured its recipient that Orange County was just as splendid in its natural beauty.

A poem on the front of the card reads:
We Need No Lofty Palaces
Like the City on the Bay
We Have Nature's Exposition
Around Us Every Day

The reverse of the postcard shows that it was sent from one Santa Ana resident to another, a Mrs. G. W. Ritzmiller, as a thank you for birthday greetings she had sent.
