DescriptionThis quilt is made with a pattern called "Four Trips Around the World", pieced together with thousands of postage stamp-sized squares. Most of the seams are hand pieced, some are machine pieced, and the entire quilt is hand-quilted. The design is composed of 22 concentric squares of 1" blocks, which are set straight with additional rows of squares on the top and bottom of the blocks. Yellow and black squares form an inner border all around with a 4" final outer border of solid yellow. The fabrics are cottons, plain and satin weave, and some stackings. The batting is low loft cotton. On View
