DescriptionBasket - sifting plaque: plain twined, made of willow, spoon shaped. Ornamentation two 1.5" bands in rattlesnake design done with bark of red bud. Tightly woven trays were used for shaking the waste over the edge. Made by Paiute people, northern California.
