DescriptionThis is a calligraphy painting by Kuo Ping-chun in 1967 for his first time meeting his grandchildren. The artist was born in 1900 in modern-day Chiayi graduated from Taiwan Medical School in 1923, practiced medicine in a suburb of Chiayi. Late in the 1920s he took lessons from Master Lin Yu-shan. Roughly translates to “Happy to meet my two grandchildren.”On View
