DescriptionJosé Clemente Orozco was a Mexican painter who is considered the most important twentieth-century Mexican muralist to utilize fresco. Along with Diego Rivera and David Alfaro Siqueiros, Orozco was one of the Los Tres Grandes (The Three Greats), a name that refers to the three artists who were the dominant figures of Mexican Modernism and who led the Mexican muralist movement. His attention to contemporary Mexican culture and Posada’s influence are evident in Nos separamos. The print includes the following text at the bottom center, “y nos seperamos y asegun la ley y pa que vaeos que soy parejo, ty te leevas a los chamacos y yo los trebejos…”On View
