DescriptionThis is Eight is Enough, a bronze sculpture of two Black cowboys made by noted Black sculptor Ed Dwight in 1979. Ed Dwight lives and works in Denver, Colorado. A western frontier theme this works illustrates two mounted black horesmen. The artist teaches and conducts seminars throughout the United States on sculpture, Black art history, and his 'Black Frontier Spirit' Project. He has stated "I have researched and dramatized through the media of sculpture the many facets and accomplishments of the Black Americans so as to instill their existence in our time and space."On View
