DescriptionPeonies is a watercolor on paper painting by Taiwanese artist Chin Li-Yen. Born in Taiwan in 1969, Chin Li-Yen graduated from Fu Hsing Kang College and National Taiwan Normal University. Chin Li-Yen teaches watercolor classes at university, and also lectures and serves as secretary for the Painting association. Among multiple awards for painting, Chin Li-Yen received the 54th Chinese Culture Medal. Chin Li-Yen's works appear at many international and domestic exhibitions. The Mandarin in this painting translates to “the garden is full of good fortune.”
