DescriptionThis plain, 2 element Z-twined basket has decoration in a triangular motif with yellow dyed porcupine quills added for variation. Boiling quills in wolf moss dyes them yellow. The interior shows the rough finish left when the weft ends are irregularly cut. Some overlay twining is evident and two bands of plain, 3 element Z-twining near the top give the basket added strength.
