DescriptionPouch of rawhide with straw-like workings on front and back, two cross-like designs (on back). Beadwork is used as a border. Multi-colored fringed rawhide on edge. A few cylinder-like beads used as decoration. Rawhide string on top may be used for hanging from belt.(per second card - note: "original card not in file 10-21-77")
Leather pouch; decorated on the front side only, with quill work and border beading. Quill work is done in colors of red, green, yellow, and purple. Small dentalium shells have been attached along the upper portion of the pouch, and have yellow feathers attached. Design on the body consists of a star. Short leather fringe has been sewn into the seams of the pouch. Bead pattern done in purple, tan, yellow, and blue beads and consists of triangular designs interspaced with a double strand of yellow beads. Apache?
