DescriptionMaya polychrome cylindrical vessel, Honduras. Circa 600-800. Framing lines and decorative bands consists of a series of panels with stylized heads. The decorative motif of the center band consists of pairs of entwined personages alternating with panels of a seated personage. The entwined personages are wearing what appear to be long headdresses, fringed with large oval ornaments.On View
