DescriptionBlack-on-black matte ceramic blackware bowl with banded geometrics as positive and negative design by Carmelita Dunlap, San Ildefonso Pueblo. Carmelita is the daughter of Junaita and Romando Vigil. She was primarily raised by her aunt, Maria Martinez. She is listed in the book, The Seven Families in Pueblo Pottery. This vessel was about 10 years old when it was purchased in 1975.
