DescriptionThis is a sombrero made in Mexico around the turn of the 20th century. Sombreros are to this day made out of either straw or felt. While wealthier wearers traditionally donned hats made of felt, there is now little difference in quality between the two. Designs are added to hats made of both mediums and are produced in a variety of ways. This hat is embellished with floral motifs and braided patterns. On View
