DescriptionLeather beaded bandolier bag made by the Ojibwe culture of the Great Lakes region. A divergent piece because of bird motif executed in cut glass faceted beads in orange and red with green leaves against light blue seed bead background; possibly American influenced style "frame" of yellow, black and red. Possibly an earlier work. Pice has a floral stitch with two threads: one laid down with beads in curvilinear pattern, the other used to anchor beads in place.
