DescriptionLotus Leaf is a watercolor on paper painting by Taiwanese artist Liang Dan Feng. Prof. Liang Dan Feng is a great painter and essayist. She studied at National Hun-Chew Academy of Arts, Tenkawol University, and Columbia University. Her Chinese ink and wash paintings show her sophisticated touch that is also full of fun. Each work reveals a different and wonderful sense. One must look at her paintings repeatedly to savor their full flavor. Prof. Liang's ink and wash paintings are based on Chinese traditional styles but incorporating Western painting techniques. Thus, her paintings create a new level of achievement with lines, light, shadow, and structure. Her paintings are widely collected by museums, schools, and private collectors.
