DescriptionGirl Among Flowers is a watercolor on paper painting by Liang Shiow-Chung. Prof. Liang Shiow-Chung holds a Fine Art degree from National Normal University in Taiwan. She has served as Professor, Chairperson, and Dean of the College of Fine and Applied Arts. Prof. Liang excels at figure painting, with her skills deriving not only from traditional Chinese techniques, but also from her own individual creation. Through Prof. Liang's control of abundant colors, fantastic lines, variable dark-light layers and so on, she conveys a person's character, emotion, and appearance. The figure's inner beauty is profoundly expressed, and all figures are vivid and lifelike. Her genius was cultivated through years of study and effort.
