DescriptionA headdress collected from Southern Highland area of Papua New Guinea and dates back from mid to late 20th Century. Light brown headdress made from cassowary feathers. This headdress is shaped like the top of a pineapple. The bottom half faces down and the top half looks spiked up. Feathers are bound together by woven fibrous material on the interior. There is braided rope inside the center.On View
