DescriptionRed-feathered headdress from the Cameroon, 20th century. Wood, feathers, textile, twine. The feathers are arranged in the form of a fanning rosette. Each feather is affixed to a wooden slat which is wrapped with blue dyed textile the vertical slats are affixed to a circular slat frame.
