DescriptionA headdress collected from Highland area of Papua New Guinea and dates back from mid to late 20th Century. Unclear what specific province the adornment originates from. The headdress features multiple feather fashioned into a crown shape. The feather colors consist of dark brown feathers with orange accents along the top with blue and green colors along the base. These feathers are bound together with woven fiber and string.
