DescriptionFetish figure; Kusu, Zaire. Dark patinated wood, fur, medicinal cavity contains textile, fiber, and other unidentified substances. Sculpted head, coiffure indicated, broad rounded forehead. Eyes, nose, ears and mouth in relief. Trianguloid face. Long, tubular neck on pyramidal base. Fur covering neck and base tied with thin strip of rawhide.
