DescriptionHand-sculpted figure of Abraham Lincoln. Made by the artist Muriel Bruyere, who was was reportedly active in Los Angeles in the middle of the 20th century. Clothed in flock-coat of fine black broadcloth.

Tag pinned to inside of coat reads: Rena Dolls, Dolls with Character / 4.95. The reverse of the tag is inscribed in ink handwriting which reads: Abraham Lincoln 1809-65 American statesman and national hero, the 16 pres. of the U.S. Born in Larue Co Ky. on Feb 12, He was the liberator of slavery. He was known for his steadfast [...indecipherable] sympathetic and charitable.
