DescriptionA pair of bracelets, gold, studded with imitation jewels, worn by Helena Modjeska in her role as "Cleopatra," given to the late Mr. and Mrs. James S. Rice, parents of James Willis Rice. From the electric lighting to the costuming made in Paris to “historical specifications,” the expenses for the Polish debut of Antony and Cleopatra were enormous. The production was given unfavorable reviews by the critics, but they did not hurt Modjeska’s reputation as an actress.

One large imitation diamond surrounded with 8 smaller ones, an emerald colored stone surrounded with 8 imitation diamonds, another large diamond cluster and a ruby cluster as described above.
