DescriptionLandscape is a watercolor on paper painting by Taiwanese artist Wang Ling Zhu. The artist says she finds the process of painting and creating to be very fulfilling, much more than the end result or the presentation. Many of her pieces are not signed or dated, as her experience of creating ends with the completion of the frame. Ling Zhu' s students are invited to use her paintings as references, and her colleagues are welcome to display them for their own decorations because Ling Zhu appreciates these requests. In fact, she feels that her work is recognized and treasured when it brightens someone's day. She has always said that since painting is a pleasure and being able to give to others is a pleasure, there is no need to worry about the material value of the work. She has always been content with the life she leads, though she has not kept many of her own paintings, she is happiest when she is creating a new frame.
