DescriptionThis rattle bracelet evidently comes from Chad, made by the Bagirmi culture. It is an uncommon shape for African rattles. It is hollow terracotta and covered by leather. The seeds within it make a rattling sound when the object is shaken. It was most likely worn around the wrist.On View
