DescriptionThese are a pair of lotus-form hair ornaments from Tibet which would have been worn by women. Tibetan men also wore earrings, but only ever a single earring. Interestingly, this exact style has been found in at least three other museum collections, and is shown adorning the ears of 16th century statues, indicating that it was a standard form.On View
