DescriptionPre-Columbian Globular Bottle with short Straight Neck. 8" high; polished whiteware, fire clouded. Found in Nueva Victoria, Tlatilco in the late 1940's. Middle Preclassic (c. 800 B.C.) Like most artifacts from Tlatilco, this vessel was probably deposited in one of the hundreds or thousands of graves at this site. The fire cloud on side of vessel occurred during the firing of the container.
