DescriptionFigurine, buff terracotta. Figure has distinctive tripartite hairstyle or headdress. Hands are brought together at navel. A fillet of clay extends across the front pelvis, either through or behind the genitalia. This motif may be a representation of auto-sacrifice in the form of passing a cord or string through a perforation in the phallus.On View
