DescriptionChinese silk textile, sleeve band. Black border with red, gold, silver and blue floral design. Multi-colored floral and bird design in centerin white, blue, green, yellow, peach and brown. Laying on cardboard but not attached. Canvas backing. Per donor, this was obtained in the late 1940's by Ben Cowles and his then wife Peggy while living in Nanking and working as Missionaries for the Presbyterian Church.
