DescriptionWoman's informal court robe in blue sheer in all over woven design. Yoke and lower border of robe of delicate pink satin with all over embroidered design of tea house roofs, bamboo, flowering cherry trees, bridges and flying bats, among which walk human figures. The yoke and borders, finished with embroidered galoon. Sleeve bands of flowers and butetrflies embroidered on black satin. Attached to these bands are other bands of grey sheer, embroidered with a stitch to petit point. All self-covered black silk buttons missing except one at the neckline. The slit sides have embroidered panels lile neck and side and an embroidered panel at the hem line runs all around the hem. An adhesive tapped number removed and cloth tag tacked to front left just inside of neckline.On View
