DescriptionSculpture, Remojadas, Veracruz, Mexico. Standing female effigy with upraised arms. Standing woman with skirt and blouse and upraised arms. Typical Remojadas face with almond eyes with irises, long low nose and open mouth with flared upper lip. Central part of face as well as the ornaments are painted with shapopote. Headband and tied flange ornaments made headdress. Necklace and arm bands decorate body.On View
