DescriptionThe advent of the RV and increased access to the outdoors through roads being built into National and State Parks completely redefined the way that Californians interfaced with the outdoors, allowing people to sojourn to nature in relative comfort. This Hugh Duncan painting of his Minnie Winnie at Twin Lakes is very much a continuation of the Plein Air tendency to capturing places and things dear to the artist.
