DescriptionNoel Quinn studied with Andre L’Hote, a key teacher of the Cubist art movement, and with Andre Cassandre in France and Italy for post graduate studies. Before leaving Europe, he was asked by Adolph Hitler to critique his watercolors and spent time with Pablo Picasso. When the Second World War started, he moved to Los Angeles and began working in the motion picture industry by producing pre-production art for studios such as Paramount, M.G.M. and Twentieth Century-Fox. This painting shows his traditional watercolor painting which features bold geometric abstract patterns as seen in this painting, Dockside. On View
