DescriptionArkilla are large woven blankets usually hung next to a marriage bed. Arkilla Jenggo are woven by the nomadic Fulani people and sold to women of the neighboring Tuareg group. They typically possess black-and-white checked patterns. Fulani weavers come to Tuareg encampments to make and sell these blankets.
