DescriptionThis ensemble uses more recent materials resulting in brighter colored embroidery in seemingly less refined application than older examples. The example certainly does speak to the Miao’s emphasis on adornment as all three pieces associated with the ensemble, particularly the skirt and the apron, feature a very good deal of detailed and colorful embroidery.On View
