DescriptionThis pamphlet was published by the Authority of the Board of Supervisors of San Bernardino County. The pamphlet contains various short essays on the different aspects of the county, black and white photographs and maps. San Bernardino has historically been a hub for industry and transportation due to its infrastructure system. In 1883, a rail link was built in San Bernardino by the California Southern Railroad that connected Los Angeles with the rest of the United States. This pamphlet, written just about thirty years after the link was built, likely served as tool to educate and attract individuals to the industry, market connections and resources that San Bernardino had to offer. This pamphlet may have been made available to guests at the Panama-California Exposition of 1915 in San Diego. On View
