DescriptionCarved wooden dish for sago pudding collected from Schouten Islands in the East Sepik Province of Papua New Guinea. The object dates back from the late 19th to early 20th century. This bowl has a blacken finish with carved figures, possibly zoomorphic, at both ends of the handles. One end has a cord tied through a hole on the bottom.On View
