DescriptionTerra cotta sculpture of a horse and rider. China, late sixth dynasty or Liu Ch'ao, 220-589 CE (according to Paul Chang's assessment, Sui to early Tang dynasty). Horse stands with all four feet on an attached terracotta base. Some faded green and black paint.
