DescriptionPlaybill for a performance of "Antygona" at Krakow's City Theater, Saturday April 25, 1903. The playbill states in Polish that the performance was the sixth guest appearance of Helena Modjeska at the theater, playing for the first time in "Antygona", the tragedy by Sophocles, translated by K. Morawskiego with music by Mendelsohn-Bartholdy, also in "Proteasilnos and Laodamia", a tragedy written by Stanislaw Wyspiamski. This appearance was reportedly the Modjeska's penultimate performance in Poland. On View
