DescriptionPhotograph of James A. Turner's citrus groves on old Santa Ana Canyon road. Turner was President of the Farmers & Merchants bank operating at the corner of Fourth and Main streets in Santa Ana in the 1880s. Born in Lexington, Kentucky, he also kept horses and hunting dogs, one of which is visible in the foreground of this photo.
