DescriptionTami-style bowl made of a hardwood, possibly called "kwila," that has been stained and polished with volcanic mud giving the bowl a dark black and brown patina throughout. Oval-shaped bowl with bird head, wings and tail ornaments and handles. There is a detail of a bird preying on a fish in its talons.
