DescriptionNimba shoulder mask from Nalu people of Baga, Guinea. Wood carved shoulder mask. Face has prominent nose, ears and mohawk. Geometric carvings along side of face, back of neck and chest plate (possibly scarification marks). Flattened, elongated breasts. Nodule on back of neck. Square cut out between breasts and on each leg to affix handles.On View
