DescriptionSkirt; Miao culture, Siu Dong subgroup, China; 20th century. It is made of shiny dark bluish black colored cotton with tiny stiff pleats. Pleats are stitched at the top with a tiny hem at the bottom. Machine stitched flat band at the top with attached ties. Ties are 19'' long.
