DescriptionNez Perce Indian bag, chamois handles on either side, made of twilled corn husk, with colored diamond designs of blue and orange.Donor's daughter brought in the bag, it originally belonged to her Uncle, Joseph H. McConnell who worked for the Union Pacific Railway, land purchase agent and traveler for them, he retired and lived in Santa Barbara and died in 1928.
