DescriptionMaricopa Indian pot; given to donor by an "old woman from Arizona"; paper tag on bottom marked MARICOPA; redware pot with black designs, 6.5"H. 4.5" across mouth of jar; lid with loop handle.
Pot received by Museum broken in a number of pieces; donor had tried to repair but had no luck so brought it to the Museum.
The lid could be for another pot, not necessarily for this one.
