DescriptionEarly 20th century photograph of a casket on display at a funeral surrounded by floral wreaths. This photograph was taken by Edward W. Cochems, a prominent Orange County photographer. It is likely that the early Santa Ana photographer were taking photographs for commercial purposes. Cochems advertised his services as a commercial photographer and could have taken the picture to help market Santa Ana’s early 20th century mortuaries.
